Missione 90 - La letteratura a Tavola

In classe di Inglese abbiamo finito di leggere un racconto breve di fantascienza chiamato "The Aliens" scritto da Roger Malisson e vi consigliamo di leggerlo perché lo abbiamo trovato fascinante. Il finale é proprio inaspettato!

Ecco quí una citazione tratta dal racconto relativa al cibo:

"'Food,' his father said shortly.

“'Food?' Terri and his mother exchanged horrified looks. 'That sickening heap of rotting garbage? Do you mean they eat that?’ His mother’s voice had risen an octave… Terri’s stomach turned over at the disgusting sight. A lot of sickening, chopped-up dead creatures and different kinds of plants, most of it partly burned for some reason, was spread out on the table below. Whatever could the Aliens be like, to eat such a foul-looking mess?”
